I enjoyed your photos of the Philippines! I was blessed to spend 2 weeks there in Feb 2008. My brother became ill while working there and needed some assistance in moving back to the states. He lived in Makati City and employed a maid and a driver who shared as much as was possible in the time available- the wet market, a ride in a jeepney, the Rizal memorial area and old walled city, a bazaar, beautiful churches and so forth. What an experience. What amazing and wonderful people. I hope some day to go back and see much, much more of the Philippines. Thank you so much for these wonderful photographic reminders.

A thorough clairvoyant eye - a sensitive feeling making the matter transparent - a deep sense of the beauty of
the world and a steady hand to grasp the camera always in the stand-by --- these photos show it all and the great
skill of a lifelong practise .....
I thank you for this gift made available to us all - and the most beloved one by me is the butterfly in all its beauty -
so frail and deep in quiet rest - a sign of eternity with all its frailty ...
Thank you so much, Da:Vid !

Hi David,
I happened upon your website (via youtube) whilst looking for reviews of the Panasonic FZ150 which I am trying to compare with the Fuji XS-1. I am an amateur photographer looking to upgrade my 'bridge' camera.
Anyway, the point is, I would like to congratulate you on your wonderful photography which I have very much enjoyed viewing.
Regards,
Derek

I loved your pictures David. The pictures of Colorado and Washington State are beautiful, and since I've lived/live in both they are homey to me. Great subject captures, and stunning clarity. Love, love, love Washington State.
